Hands down this is the runaway favorite for mid-priced Italian food in a downtown location and for once the crowds have it right. The large menu is excellent, featuring pizza, pasta, meat and fish. Indoor and outdoor seating resemble a sleek Milanese trattoria but without the brusque service. In fact the multi-lingual waiting staff often bend over backwards to accommodate diners even in the face of a packed dining room. As it is especially crowded at lunch, reservations are recommended.
