There's a lot of rain in these parts and it pays to always keep an umbrella handy. The sun is most likely to 'put its hat on' from May through to September (late spring to early autumn) while the rest of year tends to be grey and chilly. The locals are obviously well prepared for inclement weather as there's always a cosy cafe or a decent museum not too far away.
