The Hal Scott Preserve is a beautiful piece of unspoiled Florida. The trails are well maintained as well as the camp-sites. Every time I go there I see hawks, woodpeckers, wood storks, turtles and trees, lots of wonderful trees. If your a first time visitor I would suggest taking a map with you. There are usually some at the trail head on Dallas blvd. Take water and snacks and spend all day! Please don't litter.
