if you want to go out,go to streetfestivals, go for shopping, discover the great buildings and monuments with coblestonestreets... sure ...Ghent is the best place ! Only 20 minutes driving from Ghent ...you find a green beautifull area with litle charming villages. They call it the Flemish Ardennes ! A great place to ride bycicle or have beautifull walks. There you find also a charming Hotel - Bistro...named Horenbecca. A realy great place to stay ! From there you can easely have daytrips to Brussels - Ghent or Bruges. It is the best place to go ever!

I was born in Belgium, and I love it. The frikandel is exellent, and the dark chocolate, too. I really enjoy going to Belgium every summer. It's realy fun.
