When I checked into the hotel, they gave me "a room with a pool view." What they did not tell me was that there was a convention going on that same night with all the conventioneers staying pool side. At 1 am, I finally went to the front desk and demanded another room because the conventioneers literally decided to have a party right outside my room. On checkout, while I out loading my car, the maid decided to enter my room and help herself to my jewerly. When I returned to my room and noticed it was gone, I I contacted security. The maid spoke no english, but denied it of course, and security tried to tell me it was my key that was electronically eneterd. After 4 hours of maid denial and security accusations, I decided to call the police. Security not only found my jewerly on the maid, but realized the card key used did belong to the maid. I received no apology from management, or any compensation. My weekend at Hyatt was ruined. Rating is negative star infinity.

The Hyatt Grand Regency Cypress could be a vacation destination all by itself. The grounds are beautiful and the lobby a tropical paradise. Swimming, boating, biking, and hiking are all available on the resort property, and the accommodating staff is ready to serve your every need. Who needs theme parks when you can relax is such style?

I loved the hotel except that we booked a view of the lake and got the front view of the valet and parking. The entertainment in the lobby by the bar was interesting.

Expensive but still much cheaper than Disneyland Resorts. If you want luxury but don't want to get ripped off by Disney then this is your place!

I went with 2 pre-teen kids and they loved the hotel so much they forgot all about Disney. I had to make them go to the park. They really enjoyed the hotel waterslide, horseback riding, and the video games in their room. They had so much to do that I don't think we even did half of it. Affordable room service was my personal boast and brag, but overall was the friendly people and the cleanliness of the hotel. You can definately eat off the floors. It was, hands down, the best trip we ever took!
