My hubby, son and I stayed at the marriott's grande vista. the resort is very spacious due to the golf courses. the grounds, main lobby and pool area are all very beautiful. The staff was helpful. \n \nHowever the nick faldo resturant was overpriced and the food was not great. we winded up buying a lot of food from the general deli on the premises.because the grouds are so huge it was hard getting around and the main lobby was far. Our room was very nice but the when the airconditioning is on,my throat and eyes became itchy. i beleive the vents needs to be cleaned, that made me feel a little sick. \n \nThe staff was very helpful. the pool area is beautiful. Since this is a large resort they should really consider more food options. \n \nthx
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserKeep in mind that the complex was built for vacation club owners. I stayed from March 13-16 and was able to get a steal of arate at $134. I would expected to pay close to $300 anywhere else. The onsite facilites were surprising for the rate (golf course, several pools, game hall, lagoon, etc.). All in all it was probably one of the best places I have stayed at in my travels. I will be coming back again and again.
